Obituary

Mrs.Alice Greenlee of Brownstown,Fayette City R.D.1,died Friday,Feb.11,1983,at 8:45 a.m.in Colonial Manor,Bentleyville,following a lengthy illness. She was 91. Mrs. Greenlee was born March 23,1891,in Jefferson Twp.,Fayette County,a daughter of the late G.T.and Christine Gardner Federer. She was preceded in death by her husband,Samuel Greenlee,who died Dec.8,1962. Survivors include a nephew,Donald Ward of Cleveland,Ohio,who she raised,two daughters,Mrs.Leo (Edith) Glasser of Charleroi and Mrs.Elma Emelo of Fayette City,R.D.1,one brother,John Federer of Huntington,W.Va.,one sister,Mrs.George (Evelyn) Guesman,of Belle Vernon R.D.5,five grandchildren,and eight great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home,Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m.and 7 to 9 p.m.,all day Sunday,and until 11 a.m.Monday,when services will be held in the funeral home,with the Rev.C.E.Stollings,pastor,Fayette City United Methodist Church,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
