Mrs.Schmidt was a member of the Presbyterian Church;the W.B.A.and the Daughters of America;all of Belle Vernon. Surviving are a son;Jacob Schmidt; of Belle Vernon;a brother;James Gough;of Rices Landing;a sister;Mrs.John Carroll;of Coraopolis and two grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Melenyzer-Ferguson Funeral Home;Broad avenue;Belle Vernon. Services will be held there Wednesday;Dec.21;at 2 p.m.;in charge of Rev.George Clarke;pastor of the Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
