Alice A. Woods Spadafore; 100; a life-long resident of the Mon Valley; entered into heavenly rest on Sunday; Aug. 1; 2004; at Westmoreland Manor; Greensburg. Mrs. Spadafore was born in Belle Vernon on June 14; 1904; a daughter of the late James and Susan Finnegan Woods. She was preceded in death by her husband; Alfred Spadafore; one daughter; Lorenna Byron Kontas; four brothers; John; James; Edward and Frederick Woods; one sister; Dorothy Woods; and one grandson; Robert Byron. She is survived by four grandchildren; Douglas; Kenneth and Larry Byron and Susan Priloh; 10 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-great-grandchild. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.; Aug. 2; 2004; at the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC.; 334 Main St.; Fayette City; and until 10 a.m. Tuesday; when funeral services will be held with the Rev. Terry Teluch of Howe United Methodist Church of Long Branch officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
