Obituary

Alfredo Biagini,85,of 203 Baltimore St.,Belle Vernon,died Wednesday,Jan.3,1973,at 12:15 p.m. in the Havencrest Nursing Home,Carroll Twp. Born in Pistoia,Italy,Jan.27,1887,he was a resident of Belle Vernon for over 63 years. He retired as foreman in 1949 from the American Window Glass Co. He was a member of St.Sebastian R.C.Church,Belle Vernon,and the Italian Beneficial Society of Belle Vernon. He was preceded in death by his wife,Egenia Valdiserri Biagini,Oct.5,1964,and a son,Sylvus Biagini,April 20,1972. Surviving are two sons,Chester C.of Belle Vernon and Louis of West Newton,four daughters,Mrs.Harry (Alberta) Bindi of Independence,Mo.,Mrs.Michael (Norma) Malinchak of Monessen,Mrs.William (Emma) Vannucci of Belle Vernon and Mrs.Ramo (Janet) Zanardelli of Charleroi,two brothers,Joseph and John,both of Pistoia,Italy,13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 7 to 10 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Friday at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,where a prayer service will be Saturday,Jan.6,at 9:30 a.m. followed by funeral mass at 10 a.m. at St.Sebastian R.C.Church,Belle Vernon. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson,funeral director.
