Alfred Stallsworth;19;of 44 S.McKean Ave.;Donora;died about 7:40 p.m.Wednesday;June 4;1975;in a fall from the Donora-Monessen Bridge into the Monongahela River. Rescue teams recovered the body about 3 p.m.;Thursday. He was born Dec.21;1955;in Brownsville;a son of Carlson and Valerice Stallsworth Groomes. He resided with his mother in Donora. His father resides in Los Angeles;Calif. In addition to his parents;he is survived by five brothers;Carlson;Thomas;Bruce;John and Sylvern;all at home;two sisters;Marcella and Shawn;also at home;and a number of uncles;aunts and other relatives in the area. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m.Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Sunday in the Percy E.Law Funeral Home;1324 Meldon Ave.;Donora. Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m.in St.Paul’s Baptist Church of Donora;with the Rev.W.R.McBrayer in charge. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Percy E.Law is the funeral director in charge.
