Obituary

Alfred Stallsworth,19,of 44 S.McKean Ave.,Donora,died about 7:40 p.m.Wednesday,June 4,1975,in a fall from the Donora-Monessen Bridge into the Monongahela River. Rescue teams recovered the body about 3 p.m.,Thursday. He was born Dec.21,1955,in Brownsville,a son of Carlson and Valerice Stallsworth Groomes. He resided with his mother in Donora. His father resides in Los Angeles,Calif. In addition to his parents,he is survived by five brothers,Carlson,Thomas,Bruce,John and Sylvern,all at home,two sisters,Marcella and Shawn,also at home,and a number of uncles,aunts and other relatives in the area. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m.Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Sunday in the Percy E.Law Funeral Home,1324 Meldon Ave.,Donora. Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m.in St.Paul's Baptist Church of Donora,with the Rev.W.R.McBrayer in charge. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Percy E.Law is the funeral director in charge.
