Obituary

Alfred Triggs,74,of 33 Logan Ferry Rd.,Murray Manor,Murraysville,formerly of the Monessen and Pricedale areas,died Friday,April 19,1991,in Murray Manor. He was born May 24,1916,in Bluefield,W.Va.,a son of the late Reese and Cornelia Board Triggs. He was a resident manager of a senior citizen complex in Washington,D.C.,for many years. He was a U.S.Army veteran,having served in World War II. Survivors include two daughters,Mary Jane Anderson of Detroit,and Eunice Hansard of Harrisburg,one brother,Charles Triggs of Washington,D.C.,one sister,Georgia Lemon of Pittsburgh,five grandchildren,three great-grandchildren,numerous nieces,nephews and cousins. Friends will be received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.in the William R.Taylor Funeral Home,645 McMahon Ave.,Monessen,where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m.,with the Rev.Leslie Strader,pastor of the Union Baptist Church,Monessen,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The William R.Taylor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
