Alfred M. Ulens,47,of 21 Truman Road, Charleroi,died Monday, March 16,1998,at his residence. Born July 31,1950,in North Charleroi,he was a son of Alfred J. and Anna Tkach Ulens of Monessen. He had been employed at the Clairton Works of U.S. Steel Corp. Mr. Ulens was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church, Monessen. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Anthony,in 1975. In addition to his parents,survivors include his wife, Renee Eisiminger Ulens; a daughter and son-in-law, Michelle A. Ulens and Michael J. Farrier of Charleroi, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and Robert Troilo of Monessen and Beverly and William Clark of Charleroi and a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Amy Ulens of Monessen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends will abe received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Rhome Funeral Home Inc.,1209 Grand Blvd.,Monessen. A memorial service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in Grace United Methodist Church,Coal Center. Interment will be private. The Rhome Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
