Alfred J. Danesi; 82; of Fremont Road; Charleroi (Fallowfield Township); died Saturday; Dec. 15; 2001; at 11:10 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. Born Sept. 25; 1919; in Dunlevy; he was a son of the late Giovanni and Erminia Guilianni Danesi. Mr. Danesi was a resident of Fallowfield Township for the past 40 years and was Catholic by faith. Mr. Danesi was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Allenport plant; where he worked as a pipe puller in the cold draw department and was also a veteran of World War II where he served in the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife; Geraldine Lebboroni Danesi to whom he was married 59 years; two daughters and sons-in-law; Sandra and Pete Palcic of Bentleyville and Kathy and Charles Kaboly of Belle Vernon; five grandsons; Jeffrey Palcic; Peter Jon and wife Tracey Palcic; Brian and wife Heather Kaboly; Keith and wife Casey Kaboly and Mark Kaboly; four great-granddaughters; Porter Kaboly; Sydney Kaboly; Danesi Marie Palcic and Annica Palcic. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by two sisters; Mary Costanza and Josephine Monack. Visitation was held Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME; family owned and operated; 626 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon. Funeral services were held Monday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment took place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
