Obituary

Alfred J. Danesi, 82, of Fremont Road, Charleroi (Fallowfield Township), died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2001, at 11:10 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. Born Sept. 25, 1919, in Dunlevy, he was a son of the late Giovanni and Erminia Guilianni Danesi. Mr. Danesi was a resident of Fallowfield Township for the past 40 years and was Catholic by faith. Mr. Danesi was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Allenport plant, where he worked as a pipe puller in the cold draw department and was also a veteran of World War II where he served in the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Lebboroni Danesi to whom he was married 59 years, two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Pete Palcic of Bentleyville and Kathy and Charles Kaboly of Belle Vernon, five grandsons, Jeffrey Palcic, Peter Jon and wife Tracey Palcic, Brian and wife Heather Kaboly, Keith and wife Casey Kaboly and Mark Kaboly, four great-granddaughters, Porter Kaboly, Sydney Kaboly, Danesi Marie Palcic and Annica Palcic. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Costanza and Josephine Monack. Visitation was held Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon. Funeral services were held Monday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment took place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
