Alfred Gino Mazzie;80;of Dunlevy died Monday;Dec.25;1972;at 5:20 a.m.in the Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital;Inc. He was born in Italy Dec.6;1892;the son of the late Louis Mazzie and Sabina Brotesi Mazzie. He was a retired Charleroi barber. He was a member of Mother of Sorrows R.C.Church;Charleroi. A veteran of World War I;he was a member of Barracks 350 and American Legion Post 22 of Charleroi. He also was a member of the Charleroi Elks Club and the Garibaldi Society of Dunlevy. Surviving are his widow;Minnie Farrari Mazzie;one brother;Rego of St.Louis;Mo.;one sister;Mrs.Julia Maineri of St.Louis;Mo. Friends will be received after 2 p.m.Tuesday and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.Wednesday at the Francis C.Slezak Funeral Home;Charleroi. A Mass of Resurrection will be sung Thursday;Dec.23 at 10 a.m.with the Rev.J.J.Thomas officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Francis C.Slezak;funeral director.
