Obituary

Alexander Rousseau,aged 69 years,a resident of this immediate section for the past 40 years,died Wednesday,March 17,1943,at 1:40 p.m.in the Allegheny General Hospital,following a lingering illness. He was a member of the Christian Church,Belle Vernon,the Mutual Benefit Society of Charleroi and the Franco-Belgian club,Monessen. Surviving are his wife,Mrs.Margaret Rousseau and two sons,George of Belle Vernon and Fernan of Jeannette. Three brothers,Arthur and Joseph of Belle Vernon,R.F.D.and John of Tarentum,two sisters,Mrs.Mary Sprumont,Springdale and Mrs.Eva Brown of Kittanning,also survive,along with three grandchildren. Friends are being received at the late home,805 Arch street,Belle Vernon,where funeral services will be held Saturday,March 20,1943,at 2:30,with Rev.James M.Rainey of the Christian Church officiating. Interment Belle Vernon Cemetery. Charles L.Melenyzer and Edwin F.Melenyzer,funeral directors in charge.
