Obituary

Alexander J. Hora Jr., 50, of Park Avenue, Belle Vernon, died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2002, in Mon Valley Hospital. He was born in New Eagle on March 22, 1952. Catholic by faith, Mr. Hora had resided in Belle Vernon for the past 25 years and was formerly from Donora. Mr. Hora was a registered nurse for Interim Healthcare of Pittsburgh. Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Sherry Stringhill Hora, their children, Jennifer, Alexander J. and Eric Rudolph Hora, all of Belle Vernon, his parents, Alexander J. and Irene Gulya Hora of Rostraver Township, three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Alexis and Lloyd Fernandez of Belle Vernon, Patricia and Kenneth Perez of Cleveland, Ohio, and Irene Hussar of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC., a Golden Rule Member Firm, 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, Aug. 17, at 10:30 a.m. with Elders Thomas A. Hamer and William Mines officiating. Entombment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
