Obituary

Alexander Dudgeon,64,of 601 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,died in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital Monday.Feb.20,1967,at 2:15 p.m.after a lingering illness. A veteran of World War II,he was a member of Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659. Mr.Dudgeon was employed at Duquesne Slag Co.,Belle Vernon. Surviving are two sisters,Mrs.Harold (Nellie) Williams of Belle Vernon and Mrs.Arthur (Freda) Aspy of Clarksburg,W.Va. Friends will be received at the Harold R.Toner Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,from 7 to 10 p.m.Feb.21 and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.Feb.22. Service there Thursday,Feb.23,at 2 p.m.with the Dr.S.Arthur Talman,pastor of Belle Vernon's First Presbyterian Church,officiating. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery with military graveside service conducted by American Legion Post 659 of Belle Vernon. Harold R.Toner,funeral director.
