Obituary

Alexander Ruby died Saturday,February 12,1944 at his home in the Orchard Plan,Belle Vernon, following an illness of seven weeks. Surivivng are his wife, Mrs. Anna Ruby,five daughters and six sons, Mrs. William McCoy of Charleston,W.Va.,Mrs. Fred Matthews of Monessen, Mrs. Albert Williams of Parkersburg,W.Va.,Mrs. Joseph Raymond of Cleveland,Mrs. Harold Laughlin of Charleston,W.Va.,Michael Ruby of Uniontown,Charles Ruby in the service,Harry Ruby of Detroit, Andrew Ruby at home,Stephen Ruby pf Belle Vernon and Peter Ruby of Charleroi. Nineteen grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Korby of Monessen and Mrs. Nellie Prokipchok of McAdoo,Pa.,also survive. Friends are being recveive at the Melenyzer Funeral Home.  Services will be held Tuesday,February 15,at 2 p.m.,from the St.John the Divine Church,Monessen,with Father Theodore Geeza officiating. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Charles L. Melenyzer and Edwin F. Melenyzer,funeral directors,in charge.
