Alda B Humphries, 52, of 241 Reed Ave , Monessen, died Monday, Nov 27,1989, in Mon Valley Hospital. She was born Dec 16, 1937, in Memphis, Tenn , a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Williams. Mrs Humphries was a resident of the Mon Valley for most of her life. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Allena Whynn, a grandson, Lang A Key III, and a brother, Atee Williams. She is survived by her husband, Samuel Humphries Sr , two daughters, Alicia Key ot Monessen and Alda Key of North Dakota , five sons, Gary Williams and Lang A. Key, both of Monessen, Garviza Key of Donora, Blanchard Key of Jacob Creek and Tia Williams of Greensburg, three brothers, Arthur Washington of Monessen, James William and Hilton William, both of New Jersey, 25 grandchildren, two step-sons, Lance and Stanley Johnson, both of Monessen, two step daughters, Leslie Oliver of New Kensington and Laura Oliver of Hampton, Va. Friends will be received at the Beverly C Draper Funeral Home, 608 Sixth St, Monessen, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of the funeral home with Elder Joseph Bass III,officiating. Interment will be held in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Beverly C. Draper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
