Born in Black Diamond;Carroll Twp.;June 14;1914;Mr.Brizzi had been a resident of Belle Vernon for the past 37 years. He was a former resident of Webster. Mr.Brizzi retired in July 1974 as a foreman for the former Pittsburgh & Lake Erie Railroad. He was a member of St.Sebastian Catholic Church;Belle Vernon;and the Italia-Unita Club of Charleroi. Mr.Brizzi is survived by his widow;Naomi Niccolai Brizzi;one son;James J.Brizzi and his wife;Gloria Dragan Brizzi;of Monessen;two brothers;Jerry Brizzi of Chicago;Ill.;and James Brizzi of Donora;four sisters;Mrs.Lena Rivis;San Antonio;Texas;Mrs.Ceil Bastianini of Finleyville;Mrs.Mary Delia of Belle Vernon;and Mrs.Della Godfrey of Donora;and two grandchildren;James J.Brizzi Jr.and Jason Brizzi. Friends will be received in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Prayer services will be held at the funeral home Monday at 9:30 a.m.;followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St.Sebastian Catholic Church;Belle Vernon.
