Obituary

Albina Mauser Kinik, 98, of Belle Vernon, died Friday, Feb. 4, 2011, at 1 a.m. at Mon Valley Care Center, Carroll Township. Born Sept. 19, 1912, in Unity, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Gertrude Sigmund Mauser. Mrs. Kinik was Catholic by faith and a homemaker. She is survived by a niece, Maxine Weber, of Monroeville, and several other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Albina was the last surviving of 13 brothers and sisters. She is also preceded in death by her husband, John J. Kinik, on July 3, 2008. Prayer services will be held Monday, Feb. 7, at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME at 10 a.m. with the Rev. James F. Bump officiating. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, (724) 929-6183. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Albina Kinik to Vitas Hospice 235 Alpha Drive, Suite 101, Pittsburgh, PA 15238.
