Albert W.Bartus of 1006 Brown St.;Belle Vernon;died Tuesday;March 17;1981 at 11:15 a.m.in Holly Hills;Fla. He was 69. Born Sept.8;1911 in Rostraver Twp.;he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Fodor Bartus. Mr.Bartus was a retired coal miner and was a U.S.Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of St.Sebastian’s R.C.Church;the American Legion and VFW Post No.3557;all of Belle Vernon. Also;Mr.Baruts was a member and past president of the Hungarian Club of Pricedale. Survivors include a daughter;Mrs.Charles (Betty Jane) Ford of Holly Hills;two brothers;Steven Bartus of Donora and John Bartus of Connellsville;a sister;Mrs.Mary Nagy of Belle Vernon;three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Prayer services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.;followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m.at St.Sebastian’s R.C.Church;Belle Vernon. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson;funeral director;is in charge of arrangements.
