Obituary

Albert W.Bartus of 1006 Brown St.,Belle Vernon,died Tuesday,March 17,1981 at 11:15 a.m.in Holly Hills,Fla. He was 69. Born Sept.8,1911 in Rostraver Twp.,he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Fodor Bartus. Mr.Bartus was a retired coal miner and was a U.S.Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of St.Sebastian's R.C.Church,the American Legion and VFW Post No.3557,all of Belle Vernon. Also,Mr.Baruts was a member and past president of the Hungarian Club of Pricedale. Survivors include a daughter,Mrs.Charles (Betty Jane) Ford of Holly Hills,two brothers,Steven Bartus of Donora and John Bartus of Connellsville,a sister,Mrs.Mary Nagy of Belle Vernon,three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Prayer services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.,followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m.at St.Sebastian's R.C.Church,Belle Vernon. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson,funeral director,is in charge of arrangements.
