Albert (Ty) Ashley;72;formerly of Monessen and Fairhope;who made his home with his daughter;Mrs.Charles (Catherine M.) Warcham of Grove City;died in Grove City’s City Hospital yesterday morning. Mr.Ashley was a retired miner. Born at Fayette City;Nov.8;1893;he was the son of the late Jesse and Mary Emma (Riley) Ashley. Surviving besides his daughter are one brother;Jesse of Slippery Rock R.D.;six sisters;Mrs.Rose Kissell;Mrs.Jeanette Grant and Mrs.Emily Kissler;all of Fairhope;Mrs.Edith Shopeshire of Youngstown;Ohio;Mrs.Essie Ogg of Irwin and Mrs.Margaret Illinsky of Monessen;and six grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;after 7 p.m. May 24.
