Obituary

Albert Pollack,49,of 1114 Graham St.,Belle Vernon,died Sunday,Jan.30,1972,at 5 p.m. in Allegheny General Hospital,Pittsburgh. Born in Monessen on July 5,1922,he had resided in Monessen and North Charleroi before moving to Belle Vernon 16 years ago. Mr.Pollock was a member of St.Sebastian R.C.Church,Belle Vernon,and was a veteran of World War II service in the Air Force. He was employed in the chemistry laboratory of the BOF,Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. His widow,Mrs.Veronica Pennline Pollack,survives,along with six daughters, Frances Marie,Veronica Regina,Alberta,Kathy Lou,Anna Marie and Rebecca,all at home,four brothers,Steve of Monessen,Karl Jr.of West Newton,Edward of Monessen and Alexander Pollack of Fayette City,one sister,Mrs.John Leska of Fayette City,and one grandson,Jeffrey. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,from 7 to 10 p.m. Monday and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Tuesday. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home Wednesday,Feb.2,1972,at 9:30 a.m.,followed by Requiem High Mass at 10 a.m. in St.Sebastian R.C.Church,Belle Vernon,with Msgr.Martin J.O'Toole,pastor,as the celebrant. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson,funeral director.
