Albert Zema's game fight for life in the Memorial hospital at Monongahela ended suddenly Monday afternoon, December 19,1932 at 3:18 when he succumbed to an attack of lobar pneumonia. The little patient,the son of Mrs. Mary Zema,of 403 Main street, Belle Vernon, was admitted to the hospital on Saturday and amazed physicians and hospital attendents when he showed a temperature of 108 degrees,generally fatal among patients. His temperature reached this mark Sunday night by hope was entertained for his recovery when the following morning his chart revealed a temperature of 104 degrees. But his condition could not stand the revages of the dread disease and he passed away Monday afternoon.
