Albert (King Tut) Hewitt; 63;
of Allenport; died Wednesday;
July 27; 1994; at 2:45 a.m. after
a lengthy illness.
Mr. Hewitt was born June
14; 1931; in White Sulphur
Springs; W.Va.; a son of the late
Frank William and Ida Gladys
Bradley Hewitt.
He was a retired truck
driver.
Mr. Hewitt was a Mormon by
faiih.
He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict; having served
yith the U.S. Army Airborne.
Mr. Hewitt was a member of
Charleroi VFW Post No. 167.
Surviving are his wife;
Velma (Warman) Hewitt; two
sons; Albert Louis Hewitt of
Belle Vernon and Michael Hewitt of Grindstone; two daughters; Mrs. Walter (Dorothy
”Dolly ) Regal of Allenport and
Mrs. Dean (Margaret Peggy )
Lowe of Charleroi; nine grandhiIdren; two grea-tgrandchildren: four brothers;
Henry; Ernest F. and Julian
Hewitt; all of Charleroi; and
Jessie James Hewitt of Monessen: and two sisters; Kate Chalfant of Belle Vernon and Edith (Edie) Urwin of Charleroi.
Friends will be received in
the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home; 334 Main and Cook
Streets; Fayette City; on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.; Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.and until 11 a.m. Friday; the
hour of services in the funeral home;with the Rev.Francis M.Blair officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Charleroi VFW will hold a military service at the cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
