Albert Gohosky;83;of Belle Vernon;died Thursday;July 15;1993;in the home of his sister;Ann Kobaly George in Belle Vernon;after a short illness. He was born May 1;1910;in Willock;a son of the late Albert and Jennie Meig Gohosky. He was a retired coal miner and was a member of the United Mine Workers of America. He was a member of St.Joseph’s Polish National Catholic Church;Fairhope;a member of the PNA Lodge;Arnold City;the Fairhope Rod and Gun Club;the Naolmi A.C.Club;the Slovak Club;Gillespie and the Athletic Club;Belle Vernon. Survivors include one brother;Rudy Gohosky of Arnold City;three sisters;Jennie Brown of Pittsburgh;Bernice Santavicca of Arnold City and Ann Kobaly George of Lynnwood. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by his wife;June Miller Gohosky in 1984;one daughter;Velma Mae Gohosky in 1948;three brothers and one sister. Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday until 1 p.m. in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Saturday;followed by Mass at 1:30 p.m. in St.Joseph Polish National Catholic Church;(Fairhope);Belle Vernon;with the Rev.Felix Pyzowski as celebrant. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
