Alfred F. Pendo; 80; of 371
Ella St.; Belle Vernon; died Friday;
Sept. 16; 1994; at 11:25
p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital.
He was born Jan. 2; 1914; in
Charleroi; a son of the late Russell
and Josephine Pendo.
Mr. Pendo had resided in the
Belle Vernon community for
the past 45 years. He retired
from the former U.S. Steel
Works; Donora; where he was
employed in the machine shop.
He is survived by his wife;
Frances Smock Pendo; a son
and daughter-in-law; Jeffrey
and Linda Pendo of Belle Vernon;
a daughter; Jacqueline
Katinsky of Detroit; Mich.; two
brothers; Joseph Pendo of River
Rouge; Mich.; and James Pendo
of Belle Vernon; nine grandchildren
and 16 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents; he
was preceded in death by a sister;
Lena Cruciani; and a
brother; John Pendo.
Friends will be received in
the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral
Home; 626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m.in the funeral home with the Rev.Dr.Thomas St.Clair;pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon;officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
