Albert Dominick; 88; formerly of Market Street; Belle Vernon; died Friday; Jan. 16; 2004; in Mt. Vernon of South Park. A son of the late Michael and Viola Alessio Dominick; he was born in Monessen on Feb. 1; 1915. He was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church of Belle Vernon; a former member of Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659 and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Until his confinement in Mt. Vernon; he had resided in Belle Vernon since 1945. Mr. Dominick retired in 1976 from the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Co.; where he was a welder. Survivors include one son; Michael John Dominick and wife Rae of Downingtown; one daughter; Kathleen Wilson and husband Albert of Morrisville; one brother; Leonard Dominick of Monessen; six grandchildren; Michael; Anna and Marc Dominick; and Kaitlin; Kellen and Bryan Wilson; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his wife; Eunice Volpi Dominick; on March 17; 1981. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC. and CREMATION SERVICE; a Golden Rule Member Firm; (724-929-5300); 700 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon. A blessing service will be in the funeral home on Tuesday; Jan. 20 at 9 a.m. with Father Lawrence Manchas officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
