Albert Dawson;25 years old;of Charleroi;employed by the West Penn Power Company at its sub-station in Monongahela City was fatally burned at the sub-station Thursday;Jan.28;1926;when an electric drill penetrated the insulator on a high tension wire where he was working. Mr.Dawson was rushed to the Memorial hospital;where it was reported that his condition was critical. He was unconscious from the time of the accident. Two other employes of the company;working with Mr.Dawson were also burned quite badly;and were given first aid at the company’s first aid station. Their names were not ascertained. The accident was responsible for the power being off in the Monongahela district for about an hour on Thursday. Mr.Dawson died Friday morning;Jan.29;1926;at 9:35 o’clock. He is survived by his widow;Mrs.Jessie Luella Ristler Dawson;709 Oakland avenue;and by his mother;a resident of Belle Vernon.
