He was 85.
Born Feb. 26; 1895 in
Sharon; he had lived in
Speers since 1948.
Mr. James retired as an
employee of the Corning
Glass Works; Charleroi
Plant; in 1965.
He was a member of the
Belle Vernon Church of the
Nazarene.
Survivors include his
widow; Maude Aldridge
James; two daughters; Mrs.
George (Thelma) Flowers of
Levittown and Mrs. Clyde
(Celia) Henry of Bentleyville
R.D.; a step-daughter; Mrs.
Angelo (Loretta) Forte of
Bentleyville; a step-son; Benjamin Robert of Benezzet;
Pa.; 10 grandchildren and
nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death
by a daughter; Pearl Piot; in
1957.
Friends will be received in
the Shelby D. Ferguson
Funeral Home; 700 Broad
Ave.. Belle Vernon;Wednesday
from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m.from the funeral home with the Rev.Kenneth L. Neiderhiser;pastor of the Belle Vernon Church of the Nazarene;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson;funeral director;is in charge of arrangements.
