Albert C. Rossi,204 Liberty Ave.,Belle Vernon died Friday morning,October 28,1977 at 6:30 a.m. in the Haven Crest Convalescent Home, Carroll Twp. He was 80 years old. A barber for the past 60 years,Mr. Rossi owned and operated Pensy Barber Shop located at Fourth and Fallowfield,Charleroi. He was also a past member of Charleroi borough council. He was born Sept.15,1897 in San Marcello,Italy,the son of the late Etalo and Emma Enacenti Rossi. A lifetime resident of the Mon Valley,Mr. Rossi was a member of St. Sebastian's Church,Belle Vernon and the Church's Holy Name Society,Barber's Union Local 8616,for which he served as secretary for 30 years,the Lions Club of Charleroi and the AARP. In addition to his parents,Mr. Rossi was preceded in death by a brother,George Rossi.Mr. Rossi is survived by his widow, Carrie Mitchell (Conti) Rossi;two daughters,Mrs. William (Laura) Mullan of Charleroi,and Mrs. William (Dors) Zeli of Belle Vernon;one son,Col.Julius R. Conti.US Air Force,Florida,one sister, Mrs. Mary Guerra of Coal Center and nine grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Sunday. Parish Rosary will be recited in the funeral home Sunday at 8 p.m. Prayer servce will be held Monday morning at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home,followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Sebastian's Church,Belle Vernon,at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The family requests that contributions be made to the St. Sebastian's Church Renovation Fund. The Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
