Albert McKnight;71;of Vestaburg died in the Oakland Veterans Hospital;Pittsburgh;Thursday;June 28;1962 at 8:30 a.m. He was born in Smithton;Oct.2;1891. He was a veteran of World War I;the V.F.W.Post of Vestaburg;the Moose Lodge of Brownsville;and the American Legion Post;Fredericktown. He retired in 1956 as an employee of the Jones and Laughlin Co.;in the Wash Plant;Vestaburg. Previously he had charge of the J&L Coal Co.homes;Vestaburg. His wife;Kathryn McKnight;died on July 3;1956. He is survived by one brother;Charles of Downey;Calif.;one niece and several nephews. Friends are being received at the late home where services will take place Monday;July 2;1962;at 1 p.m. The Rev.Fred Cochran will be in charge. Interment;Belle Vernon Cemetery.
