Obituary

Albert McKnight,71,of Vestaburg died in the Oakland Veterans Hospital,Pittsburgh,Thursday,June 28,1962 at 8:30 a.m. He was born in Smithton,Oct.2,1891. He was a veteran of World War I,the V.F.W.Post of Vestaburg,the Moose Lodge of Brownsville,and the American Legion Post,Fredericktown. He retired in 1956 as an employee of the Jones and Laughlin Co.,in the Wash Plant,Vestaburg. Previously he had charge of the J&L Coal Co.homes,Vestaburg. His wife,Kathryn McKnight,died on July 3,1956. He is survived by one brother,Charles of Downey,Calif.,one niece and several nephews. Friends are being received at the late home where services will take place Monday,July 2,1962,at 1 p.m. The Rev.Fred Cochran will be in charge. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson,Belle Vernon,funeral director in charge.
