Alba Roskovich;82;of Branthoover St.;(Arnold City) Belle Vernon;died Thursday June 3;1993;in the emergency room of Mon Valley Hospital. She was born April 16;1911;in Fredericktown;Pa.;a daughter of the late Carlo and Paotina Fini Battaglini. Mrs.Roskovich is survived by one stepson and daughter-in-law;Michael and Dolores Roskovich of Belle Vernon;a stepdaughter and son-in-law;Mrs.William (Marlene) Smith of Ft.Lauderdale;Fla.;seven stepgrandchildren;and three sisters;Isable Frameli of Clarksville;Nellie Hatala of Fredericktown and Ferruccia Bilsky of Belle Vernon. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Frank Roskovich;a stepson;Frank R.Roskovich;one sister;Caroline Francis;and three brothers;William;Dan and Ferruccio Battaglini.Friends will be received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral Blessing service will be held in the funeral home Saturday at 1 p.m.with the Rev.Richard E.Mackiewicz of the Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church officiating. Interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery;Belle Vernon. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
