Agnes L. Pollock Helzlsouer,formerly of Monessen,died Saturday, July 18,1987,in Latrobe Hospital, Latrobe,Pa.,following an illness of six months' duration. She was 77. Mrs. Helzlsouer was born Oct. 2,1919,in Star Junction,a daughter of the late Robert Pollock and Ellazanne Linklighter Pollock. She was a teacher in St. Bruno Catholic School,Greensburg,and retired from employment with the Washington County Department of Public Assistance. Mrs. Helzlsouer had been a Monessen resident for most of her life. Her husband, William E. Helzlsouer, died in 1965. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Carolyn) Clegg,of Greensburg;one son, William E Helzlsouer Jr. of West Mifflin;four grandchildren;two great-grandchildren;and two sisters, Jeanetta Lint of Sarasota, Fla.,and Ella Mae Ellwell of Perryopolis.Friends will be received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home,Inc.,Grand Boulevard and Marion Avenue, Monessen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 11 a.m. in St. Leonard Roman Catholic Church,Monessen. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery,Belle Vernon. The Robert A. Billick Funeral Home,Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
