Agnes Henderson of 482 Motheral Ave.,Monessen,died Tuesday, May 12,1981 at 12:30 p.m. in Mercy Hospital,Pittsburgh. She was 59. Mrs. Henderson was born August 19,1921 in Atlanta, Ga.,a daughter of the late Adolph and Essie Lee Craig McCalley. She was a former member of the Holiday AME Church, Braddock. Mrs. Henderson wa a member of the Elite Temple Lodge No. 428 of Monessen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Henderson in 1968,and a sister, Ermaniece Halvurton in 1966. Survivors include one daughter, Essie Mae (Pam) Barkley of Monongahela R.D.1,two brothers, Chester McCalley of East Pittsburgh and David McCalley of Wilkinsburg,and three grandchildren,Doreen Henderson of Germany,Shantez Henderson of Monongahela and Tanzie of Monongahela. Friends will be received in the William R. Taylor Funeral Home,645 McMahon Ave.,Monessen,Thursday and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home,with the Rev. Griffin Mason offciating. An Elks service will be in the funeral home Friday at 8 p.m. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. William R.Taylor Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
