Agnes Kocian Fidnarik; 92; of Carroll Township; formerly of Belle Vernon; died Wednesday; Nov. 18; 2009; at 7:05 a.m. at Mon Valley Care Center; Carroll Township. Born Oct. 2; 1917; in Pricedale; she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mari Janac Kocian. Mrs. Fidnarik was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; a homemaker; member of the former Catholic Daughters of the Americas Belle Vernon Court 1522 and the St. Sebastian Legion of Mary. She is survived by three sisters; Helen Mogan of Massachusetts; Margaret Butera of Charleroi and Dolores Snyder of Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband; Joseph Fidnarik; two brothers; Frank Kocian Jr. and Steve Kocian; and three sisters; Rose Sedlak; Mary Blumenstock and Ann Jeffers. Visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME; Family Owned and Operated; 626 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon; 724-929-6183. Prayer Service will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. in the funeral home followed by Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. at St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. James F. Bump as celebrant.
