Agnes (Aggie) Vargo Strychalski, 89 of Fairhope, Belle Vernon, PA, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at home surrounded by her family. She was born June 19, 1931 in Fayette City, PA, daughter of Andrew Vargo and Anna Repan Vargo. She was a member of St. Sebastian's Roman Catholic Church, Belle Vernon, Pa. She is survived by two sons, Edward J Strychalski at home, Andy W Strychalski and Lisa M. Kukonik of Fayette City, daughter, Constance A Strychalski and Kenneth F. Miller of Belle Vernon; brother, Joseph Vargo of Fayette City and sister, Dolores Yelich of West Newton; grandson, Andy W. Strychalski, Jr. and granddaughter, Alyssa Kukonik both of Fayette City. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Edward J. Strychalski; six brothers, Leonard, George, Thomas, Edward, Andrew Jr and Herb; two sisters; Mary Karelli and Dorothy Wetzel. Friends will be received Friday, July 24, 2020 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home,Inc., 334 Main St., Fayette City, PA. www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com. Blessing service will be held Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 10:00 am in St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, with Rev. Fr. Michael Crookston as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery, Belle Vernon, PA. Face mask are to be worn inside the funeral home and social distancing guide lines need to be followed.
