Obituary

Mrs.Adele Rousseau,a pioneer resident of Charleroi,where she migrated from Roux,Belgium,50 years ago,died Saturday,February 22,1941 at 11:30 a.m.at the home of a daughter,Mrs.Mary Sprumont,in Springdale.  She had been ill and confined to her bed since January 6.  The family resided in Charleroi for 20 years and then removed to a farm near Kittanning.  Surviving are six children,Arthur,Alex and Joseph,of Belle Vernon,John,of Creighton,Pa.,Mrs.Sprumont,at whose home she died,and Mrs.Eva Brown.  Her husband,John B.Rousseau,preceded her in death in 1919.  Friends are being received at the home of her son,Joseph Rousseau,in Belle Vernon,where services will be held Tuesday,February 25,1941,at 2 p.m.in charge of Rev.James Rainey.  Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
