Addie M. Dougherty; 81; of Perryopolis R.D. 1; formerly
of Belle Vernon died Tuesday;Feb.15;1977;at 10:15 a.m. in Charleroi Division of Mon
Valley Hospital.
She was born in Peters
Creek on Dec. 23; 1895 and had lived in Perryopolis the past 16
years. Prior to that time; she
was a resident of Belle
Vernon.
Mrs. Dougherty was a
member of the First Baptist
Church; Belle Vernon.
She was preceded in death
by her husband. Philip
Dougherty; in 1937.
Surviving are two sons;
Harry E. Dougherty of Belle
Vernon and Thomas R.
Dougherty of Terre Haute;
Ind.;four sisters; Mrs. Hugh (Bertha) Kissler of Belle
Vernon; Mrs Elizabeth Willingham of Woodlake;
Calif.; Mrs. Herbert (Helen)
Fullard of Munhall and Mrs.
Henry (Betty) Teska of
Perryopolis R. D. 1; with
whom she made her home: 11
grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at
the Shelby D. Ferguson
Funeral Home; Belle Vernon from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Thursday. Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 1 p.m.with the Rev.Charles Colas;pastor of the First Baptist Church;Belle Venon;officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson is funeral director in charge.
