Obituary

Adam Trinkala,89,formerly of Speers Hill,died Monday,March 1,1999,in South Hills Convalescent Center.  Mr. Trinkala was born March 28,1909,in Galitzia, Austria,the son of the late Astan and Annie Trenkala.  A Protestant by faith,he was a retired cook for Mon River Towing and a veteran of the U.S.Marine Corps during World War II. He is survived by three sons,Kenneth Pritts of Smithton,Ronald Trinkala and Franklin Trinkala;five daughters and two sons-in-law, Darlene and Jules Ostetrico of Charleroi,Rita and Gerald Hagerman of Smithton,Dolores Pera,Sandra Allen and Margie Kennedy;a daughter-in-law,Julie Trinkala of Speers;three brothers, Steve,Frank and Liggy Trinkala;a sister,Anna Missonik;and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Besides his parents,he was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Weaver Trinkala in 1981;and two sons, Darryl D.Trinkala in 1988 and David Trinkala in 1969. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. Services will be held in the funeral home Thursday at noon with the Rev. Charles Sowden officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
