Obituary
Adam Auther,68,of 211 Water street, Fayette City,died in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital,Tuesday, March 1,1955,at 9:50 a.m. Mr. Auther,who was born in Fayette City,July 28,1886,was a member of the Fayette City Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife, Ella; one son, Dell; two brothers, David of Niagara Falls, New York and William of Independence,Missouri; one sister,Mrs. James Teirkield,of Fayette City;one grandson and one granddaughter. Friends will be received at the McCrory Funeral Home. Services will be held there Friday,March 4,1955,at 2 p.m.,in charge of Rev. D. Earl Daniel of the Fayette City Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. George M. McCrory and Son are the funeral directors.
