Ada Liewellyn Philips;53;of 440 Henry St.;Belle Vernon;died Wednesday Fe.21;1973;at noon in the Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. She was born in Fayette City on July 7;1919;a daughter of the late Ob and Molly Ather Llewellyn. Mrs.Philips was a member of First United Methodist Church;Belle Vernon. Surviving are her husband;Harold B.Philips;one daughter;Mrs.Florian (Marila) Scherpf of New Carlisle;Ohio;and two grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;from 7 to 9 p.m.Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Friday. Services will be held Saturday at 1:30 at the funeral home with the Rev.Seth Bower of First United Methodist Church;Belle Vernon;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
