died Friday; April 12; 1996; at
7:51 a.m. in Brownsville General Hospital.
She was born June 17; 1901;
in West Newton; a daughter of
the late David and Evaline P.
Pollock Markle.
She was preceded in death by
her husband; Ralph Lehew; and
eight brothers and sisters. She
was the last surviving member
of her family.
She was a member of the
First Presbyterian Church;
Belle Vernon. She had resided
in the Belle Vernon community
for the past 63 years. She was
the last surviving member of
the R.J. Linton Bible Class at
the church.
Survivors include one
daughter; Laverne Lehew; at
home.
Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in
the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home; 626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Ross Bash;interim pastor;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
