Aaron McRae,66,of 620 Chestnut St.,Monessen,died unexpectedly Wednesday,April 30,1969 at 2:15 a.m. in Presbyterian-University Hospital, Pittsburgh. Mr. McRae was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church,Monessen,and was a retired employee of the Monessen Page division of American Chain and Cable Co. Surviving are his widow,Jettie;a son,Wilbert of Monessen;two daughters,Mrs.Lois Woodyear of New York City and Thelma McRae of Pittsburgh;five grandchildren;five brothers,Willie and Nebraska of Baltimore,Md.,Booker of Aliquippa,Platt of Rockingham,N.C.,and Rudolph of New York City;two sisters,Mrs. Ledonia Harrington and Mrs. Gwendolyn Benton,both of Baltimore. Friends are being received at the William R. Taylor Funeral Home,Monessen,from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. The body will be taken to Fellowship Baptist Church,Monessen,at 9 a.m. Saturday,May 3,to lie in state there until services the same day at 11 a.m. The Rev. D.D.Chatman,pastor,will officiate. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Private family service at the funeral home May 2 from 8 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to Aliquippa Hospital,c/o Dr. David Chamovitz.
