Aaron E. Reece,of 713 Henry St.,Belle Vernon,died suddenly Sunday,March 22,1981 at 1:49 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. He was 68. Mr. Reece was born Aug. 11,1912,in Monessen,a son of the alte Robert and Annes Bagley Reece. He retired in 1971 from the Page Plant of the American Chain and Cable Co.of Monessen. Mr. Reece had lived in Belle Vernon since 1946,coming there from his former residence in Monessen. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church,Belle Vernon,the Monessen F&AM Lodge No.638,and the Consistory Valley Chapter of Pittsburgh. Survivors include his wife,Viola Glatfelter Reece,at home;a son,Robert E. Reece,of Cairo,NY,a daughter, Mrs Robert (Carole) Van Fleet,of Scottdale,RD1,two sisters,Miss Gladys Reece of Clair Manor,Belle Vernon,and Mrs. James (Virginia) Johnston of Belle Vernon,and four grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon, Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Masonic Services will be held in the funeral home at 8 p.m. Tuesday by the F&AM Lodge No. 638,Monessen. Services will be held in the funeral home Wednesday at 11 a.m.,with the Rev. Seth P.Bower of the New Hope Parish,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
