John W.Hawker;77;of Fayette City;died Saturday; December 14;1957;at 4:30 a.m. in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. He was born in Dunbar June 11;1880;and was a retired railroad clerk. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Clerks. Surviving are his widow;Elizabeth T.Hawker;two brothers;Elmer of Pittsburgh and Robert of Perryopolis;R.D.;and one sister;Mrs.Margaret Smith of Pittsburgh. Friends are being received in the McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;where services will be held Tuesday;December 17;1957;at 2 p.m.with Rev.D.Earl Daniel of the Fayette City Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
