Mrs. Eva Hoffman, 68, 78 Pennsylvania Blvd., Monessen, died Friday,October 11, 1957, at 9:45 a. m. in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital after a long illness. Born in Montrose, Colorado, Mrs. Hoffman came to the Fairhope area 45 years ago, and for the past year had resided with her daughter, Mrs. Nick (Lucille) Gramatikos. She was a member of the St. Eusebius R. C. Church, Fayette City. Preceded in death by her husband,Harry Hoffman 37 years ago,and by a son, Thomas,three years ago,she is survived by her mother,Mrs. Rose Wyant,Brookville, Pa.,a daughter,Mrs. Gramatikos, a son, Charles,Washington,Pa., a brother, Bert Smith,Belle Vernon and six grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Rhome Funeral Home,McKee Ave. Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 9:30 o'clock from St. Eusebius R.C.Church in Fayette City with Rev. Henry J.Hanse officiating at Requiem Mass. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. H.Denver Rhome,funeral director.
