Georgetta Grant of 317 Thorton Rd.,Allison was dead on arrival at Brownsville General Hospital Friday,June 10,1977 at 9:06 p.m. She was born in Fayette County,a daughter of Anna Spiker Grant who survives of Allison and the late Charles Grant. In addition to her mother,she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Mary Shaneyfelt of Allison and Mrs. Wilda Davis of Grindstone;two nieces and three nephews. In addition to her father,who died in 1947,she was preceded in death by two brothers, Meryl,who was killed in Okinawa in 1945 during World War ll and Charles Jr. who died in 1958. Friends will be received in the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,Main St.,Fayette City after 6 p.m. Saturday, June 11. Services will be held in the funeral home Monday,June 13,at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Earl Confer of Uniontown officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
