Samuel Gelotti;68;of 703 Graham St.;Belle Vernon;died Thursday;Oct.21;1976;at 11:10 p.m.at his home. He was born in Italy on Aug.19;1908;a son of the late Anthony and Marie Gelotti. He had lived in Belle Vernon the past 60 years;residing previously in Newell. Mr.Gelotti was a member of St.Sebastian Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. He retired in 1972 from the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation where he had worked as a millwright. Surviving are his widow;Helen Choker Gelotti;two daughters;Mrs.Earl (Elma) Peters of Sutersville and Mrs.Norman (Dorothy) Candelore of Elizabeth Twp.;four brothers;Silvio Gelotti of Perryopolis R.D.;John and Alex Gelotti;both of Fayette City R.D.;and Mickey Gelotti of Belle Vernon;three sisters;Mrs.Jennie DeFazio of Monessen;Mrs.Martin (Rose) Niccolai and Mrs.Evo (Margaret) Mencarelli;both of Speers;and three grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;from 7 to 9 p.m.Saturday;Oct.23;and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Sunday;Oct.24. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Monday;Oct.25;at 9:30 a.m.;followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.in St.Sebastian Catholic Church;Belle Vernon.
