Jacob J.Glasser;81;of 414 Mutich St.;Belle Vernon;died Monday;June 2;1975;at 11 p.m. in the Loma Linda Hospital;Loma Linda;Calif. He was born in Pittsburgh on Aug.6;1893;and had retired in 1957 from the Allenport Works of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Mr.Glasser was a member of St.Sebastian Catholic Church of Belle Vernon;Knights of St.George;Pittsburgh;American Citizens Club;North Charleroi;and the Fairhope Rod and Gun Club. His wie;Mary Prescott Glasser;preceded him in death on March 6;1972. Surviving are one son;Thomas Glasser of Rialto;Calif.;three grandchildren;one of whom is Mrs.Olan (Pat) Weldon of Belle Vernon;with whom he made his home;and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;from 7 to 9 p.m.Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Friday. Prayers will be rectied at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m.Saturday;followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.in St.Sebastian Catholic Church;Belle Vernon.
