Elmor Giles;71;of 940 Graham Ave.;Belle Vernon;died Wednesday;Aug.12;1970;in Mayview State Hospital. Mr.Giles was born in Kovoka;Fla.Feb.1;1899. He was a member of St.Paul’s Baptist Church in Florida. Survivors include one sister;Minnie L.Butler;of Belle Vernon and many nieces and nephews. Friends are being received at the William R.Taylor Funeral Home;Monessen after 7 o’clock Thursday evening until 5 p.m.on Friday when the body will be taken to Antioch Baptist Church;Belle Vernon where the body will lie in state until 1 p.m.on Saturday; the time of service. The Rev.Samuel Green will officiate. Interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. William R.Taylor is the funeral director in charge.
