Born in Winnferd;W.Va.;he was a retired miner and a Baptist by faith. He had lived in Deemston Borough for 41 years. Surviving are a son;Albert of Cleveland;Ohio;two daughters;Mrs.John H.(Linnie) Rhodes of Fredericktown R.D.1 and Mrs.Don (Virginia) Baker of Joppa;Md.;a step-son;James Holleran of Vestaburg;29 grandchildren;37 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. His wife;Bridget Lavelle Gauden;died in 1950. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. May 15 at Greenlee Funeral Home;Fredericktown.
