Obituary

Harry B. Gilmore,61, of 374  Ella St.,BelleVernon,died Monday,May 26,1969,at 3:03 p.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital.  Born in Dunbar on Sept. 5,1907,he was a member of the First Christian Church of Belle Vernon and had been a landing man at Gibsonton docks for Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.  He is survived by his widow,Pearl Walters Gilmore, two sons, Lloyd W. of Baltimore, Md.,and Harry L. of Belle Vernon,two sisters, Mrs. Caroline Easter of Allison,Pa. and Mrs.Nellie Sharp of Pittsburgh.  Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,after 7 p.m. May 27,and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.May 28.  Service there Thursday,May 29,at 10:30 a.m.with the Rev.John Bowers,pastor of Belle Vernon's First Christian Church,officiating.  Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Edwin Melenyzer of Monessen is funeral director.
