Mrs.Margaret Gartland;79;of 327 Phillips St.;Speers Hill;Charleroi;died today at 7:30 a.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Mrs. Gartland was born in DuBois;Pa.;Aug.22;1889;a daughter of the late John and Nellie F.Mchenry.She was a member of St.Jerome Roman Catholic Church;Charleroi;and had spent most of her life in the Charleroi area. Surviving are four sons;Thomas and John of Youngstown;Ohio;Edward of Warren;Ohio;James of Columbus;Ohio;three daughters;Mrs.Leona Fullerton of West Newton;Mrs.Elizabeth Gales of Speers Hill;Mrs.Nellie Burns of Garwood;N.J.;a brother;Joseph McHenry of Youngstown;Ohio;two sisters;Mrs.Mayme McGloster of Monongahela and Mrs.Theresa Bentz of North Charleroi;twenty-two grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Francis C.Slezak Funeral Home;Charleoi;after 7 p.m. Feb.13. Requiem High Mass in St.Jerome R.C.Church;Charleroi;at 10 a.m. Saturday;Feb.15.
